Born on 31st May 1924 in Mildenhall. [Mildenhall Q3-1924 4A:1557], baptised in St Mary's, Mildenhall on 2nd August 1924, the son of Marion Eveleyn ALECOCK ( later CLARK).
His mother seems to have married John W CLARK (Cambridge Q4-1931 3B:1259).
He was raised by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Alecock. Both grandparents appear to have died in 1934 in Mildenhall.

He was living at 4 Wilburton Road, Stretham, Cambs when mobilised on 5th November 1942, giving his next of kin as sister Mrs R.CLARK of Cage Lane, Stretham.

5 feet 8.6 inches (175 cm)tall, weighing 155 lbs (70.5 kg), brown eyes and hair, chest 35.5 to 38.5 inches (90.2 to 97.8 cm), Church of England.

A dispatch rider, in the RASC, he was killed in a motor cycle accident .
